Suburban Marketing & Distribution started in 1997 as an independent music distribution & marketing company distributing labels like Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Steamhammer and Sanctuary to name a few and artists like Bruce Dickinson, Nightwish, The Offspring, Billy Idol, Motorhead, The Gathering, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more... First result was within a couple of months after the company was founded getting a top 10 chart entry for the album 'Nighttime Birds' from Dutch triprockers The Gathering. In the first years the focus was mainly on heavy music, but as the years passed the company started working on many more genres. In 1999 Suburban Records, the inhouse label was created giving a home to bands like Peter Pan Speedrock, 7Zuma7, The Spades, El Guapo Stuntteam, Hermano, Astrosoniq, Keith Caputo and the latest signings Exile Parade and The View, both from the UK. These days Suburban is a modern multi entertainment company offering everything from CD/LP manufacturing, physical- and digital distribution of music, merchandise, publishing etc.
