Looking back on a stirring week with The View

The naughty but mighty adorable boys from The View were in The Netherlands for a couple of pretty wild days. After hearing about their quite stormy performance in Austria, we must admit we were a bit anxious to have them over for nothing less then three shows, two instores, a Meet&Greet and a signing session. But thanks to our years of experience with naughty boys (think Peter Pan Speedrock, Denvis, Dikke Dennis, El Guapo Stuntteam), we knew were we got ourselves into.

Even under - or maybe thanks to - the influence of lots of vodka, the boys were able to pull of some very tight and impressive shows. With the sold out show at De Melkweg as a definite highlight! Also the instores at Plato Utrecht and Velvet Delft were a succes, causing quite a gathering in Delft with around a hundred fans.

Meet&Greet
Four lucky winners from the Hyves-competition got the chance to meet the guys during an exclusive Meet&Greet. The plan was to take the three girls plus one boy back stage at De Melkweg. But off course, the guys were nowhere to be found at the arranged time. After a hint from the tour manager, we were able to locate them in the nearest Irish pub. So we chanced the location for the Meet&Greet. You can imagine the (under-aged) fans had the time of their lifes.

Signing session
After all their hard work, we had a signing session set up at De Melkweg cafe. When the exhausted boys saw the crowd waiting, even they could let their after party booze wait for a few minutes. The Melkweg crew had to step in eventually to calm down the overexcited fans..
