EXILE PARADE

Exile Parade are a young band from Warrington, North West, England who formed in 2006. The band recorded half of their album with Owen Morris (Oasis, The Verve, The View, New Order).

Prior to recording with Owen, the bands demo of 'Fire Walk With Me' featured on the DVD release of British indie-teen drama 'Skins'', which has sold millions worldwide. Also the band had a demo of their track 'Love Disco' on the sound track to a Hollywood movie starring Jack Black, Ben Stiller and directed by cult status comedian Andy Dick.

They signed with indie label Suburban Records for France, Scandinavia and the Benelux. Suburban are currently preparing the debut single release in the territories mentioned above. The band has also been performing at the London Calling Festival in Amsterdam in late April with a European tour.

Exile Parade are currently enjoying modern rock speciality spins on 14 stations in the states (e.g. KROQ, Indie 103.1, Q101) and have received support from influential DJ's such Sat Bisla and Jed The Fish. In Europe stations such as MotorFm in Germany, BBC

Manchester and VPRO - 3VOOR12 in The Netherlands started spinning the bands tracks. In week 6 the single even got chosen Single of the Week at VPRO – 3voor12 Dutch national radio.

Update:  On 16 november will the 6-track cdl be released with, besides the single 'Fire Walk With Me' (first time on cd!), five other tracks such as their English debut single 'Heart Into Suicide.

Press Quotes

"They got the swagger of Oasis, they reminded me of a totally punked-up Rolling Stones. Move over Kasabian!"
(Jim Gellatly - BBC Radio)

"Mix The Music's indie-dance tunes, Oasis's brazen attitude, Jet's urgency and Kelly Jones' gloriously dragged out vocal and you'd have the sonic bomb that is Exile Parade...best catch them now, whilst they're playing the more intimate venues, for if this singles's anything to go by, Exile Parade are destined to detonate into the big time."
(Au Magazine about the 'Heart Into Suicide' single)

"They sound like Kasabian on speed. The singer has Liam Gallagher and Robert Plant sized aspirations sizzling through his blood, they could be a new main stage pleaser in waiting."
(Disorder Magazine about the 'Heart Into Suicide' single)

"The Oasis of 2008, but then on speed" (Eric Corton / VPRO radio)

"Best Rock and Roll I've had the honour and pleasure of being involved with since Oasis ' first album. Fucking stunning, evil music."  (Owen Morris - Producer - Oasis, The Verve, The View)

"They sound like Oasis but with bigger testicles."  (Jed the Fish - KROQ Los Angeles)

"The most promising band to emerge in the last five years."  (Mick Middles - Author of Joy Division" to "New Order": The True Story of Anthony H.Wilson and Factory Records)

"Recently I have been in Real World Studio with Exile Parade from Warrington. Best Rock and Roll I've had the honour and pleasure of being involved with since Oasis ' first album. Fucking stunning, evil music."

(Owen Morris - Producer - Oasis, The Verve, The View)

"This band is the "dogs bollocks" of rock.absolutely brilliant. They're unsigned right now but destined to be massive."
(Sat Bisla - A&R Worldwide President - Passport Approved DJ/Indie 103.1 fm)

"Exile Parade are a driving indie rock five piece who manage to take all the best bits of the Verve, Queens Of The Stone Age and Oasis and channel them into one feral whole."

"Lomax’s vocal is as raw and powerful as they come, this, coupled with the dirty, blues-like rock n’roll of the music all adds up to quite an exciting proposition."
(High Voltage)

"Well worth a listen if you like your rock with the best of the 60s influences (Kinks, The Who and Rolling Stones etc. but with a bang up to date sound. LOVED IT."
