Everyone Gets The Song They Deserve’ is the debut album by D Deadly. A period of over a year in almost absolute quarantine was the sacrifice that the band members had to make for this. Unlimited space for creativity, an eye for detail, a positive-self-critical attitude and a great deal of patience are characteristic concepts for the studio phase, in which the band did not want to leave anything to chance in order to make a crushing impression with their first feat. The result is impressive: a collection of passionate guitar songs with tasteful vocal and instrumental harmonies and melodies. Plenty of variation in dynamics; powerful and energetic, but also intimate and with feeling. And always with the song consistently high on the agenda. D Deadly consists of Eindhoven residents Dennis ‘Denvis’ Grotenhuis (vocals/guitar), Roel Blommers (guitar/vocals), Gijs van de Burgt (bass) and Jacco van Rooij (drums). With a background in various Eindhoven bands such as the Spades, Suimasen, Denvis & the Real Deal and 7 Zuma 7, the band members limit themselves in the line-up of D Deadly to the essence of a guitar rock band. The new style refers to bands and musicians such as Teenage Fanclub, Mark Lanegan, Big Star and Elliott Smith.
